Frenetic times leads us to hectic habits, in a society where the aim is to maximize efficiency, even the meals have become like pit stops during the day.

Zooming in the context of today’s interaction with food, we need to understand the urgency to slow down. To drive the change towards a new culture of consumption.

Taking as a starting point the theories of Gastrophysics developed by Charles Spence, Tasting Time comes with the purpose of tackle today’s habits and establish new rituals. Underlining the importance of consuming the meal with consciousness, without distractions. Showing the relevance of being able to balance time during the meal, the interaction with the food is reinvented to trigger the body and mind, senses, and emotions.
